Welcome To NCCSA Website.

The North Carolina Chimney Sweep Association was founded in 1976 and continues to provide training, certification and a venue for chimney professionals to gather for networking and learn from each other. We typically have 4 meeting a year with locations in all parts of the state.

We also join for “Sweep Weeks” which coincides with National Fire Prevention Week the first of Oct. each year. During this time we will help a low income or retried family that was identified by a NCCSA member who may have a old or improperly installed fireplace or wood-stove and help them make it safer for use.

The chimney sweep profession has been around for many year starting in Europe during the industrial revolution.
